Ross Bailes sixth in Winter Freeze XVI at Screven Motor Speedway

After losing the $5,000 opener on Thursday evening, Ross Bailes was one of 32 Super Late Model drivers at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) on Friday night for the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series season opener.

Finishing 16th in the $10,000-to-win feature, Bailes focused on Saturday's $25,000-to-win finale where he charged from 15th-to-6th in the 50-lapper. Bailes also earned a podium finish in the 602 Late Model feature on Friday.
