Ross Bailes joins Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series for Blue-Gray 100 weekend
Making the short trip to the "Place Your Mama Warned You About" for the weekend, Ross Bailes joined a 42-car field at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) for the two-day season finale with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.
Bailes grabbed the final transfer spot in his heat race during night one and raced to a 12th-place finish in the 30-lap opener. On Saturday, Ross started 12th in the 100-lap, $35,000-to-win main event and ran as high as third before a late flat tire relegated him to a 23rd-place finish.
