Bailes fourth in unsanctioned event at East Alabama Motor Speedway

Losing their original plans to Mother Nature, Ross Bailes took the Joey Malone-owned No. 87 machine to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) on Saturday afternoon for a $10,000-to-win event.

Stopping the clock eighth-quickest out of 19 qualifiers, Bailes started the 50-lap feature from the fourth-row and made up four spots to finish inside the Top-5 in fourth. He trailed Brandon Overton, Allen Styck, and Austin Horton while Haiden Cowan completed the Top-5.
