Ross Bailes collects two checkered flags at Golden Isles Speedway during Winternationals
Ross Bailes unloaded the Brian Nuttal-owned No. 16 Super Late Model at Golden Isles Speedway (Waynesville, Ga.) for the final four days of the Wieland Winternationals as the tour finished up their 2026 Speedweeks.
Bailes snuck his way into the opening two feature events, finishing 24th in both. Ross was then unable to make the A-Main field on Friday or Saturday.
Bailes broke out the Johnny Pursley-owned No. 09 604 Late Model on Friday evening and would pick up two victories on Friday and Saturday. Ross outdueled Griffin Smith and Austin Yarbrough for the opening night win before holding off Colton Trouille on Saturday evening for the finale.
