Eighth-place run with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park
Ross Bailes found himself at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park (Elkin, N.C.) on Friday afternoon for the $10,000-to-win Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series event.
Laying down the second-fastest lap in his qualifying group, Ross led flag-to-flag in his heat race before pulling the No. 4 in the redraw. Running inside the Top-5 for most the main event, Bailes fell back with a few laps to go but rallied to finish inside the Top-10 in eighth.
Saturday's $20,000-to-win Buddy Crook Memorial at Lancaster (S.C.) Motor Speedway was cancelled due to overnight rain showers.
