Pair of sixth-place finishes at Screven Motor Speedway during Winter Freeze
Ross Bailes was once again behind the wheel of the Danny Hatcher-owned No. 6 Longhorn on Friday afternoon at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) to compete in the second night of the Winter Freeze XIV.
Among 34 Southern All Star Late Models, Bailes missed the setup in qualifying but made up for it in the quick 30-lap feature by moving forward eight spots to finish inside the Top-10 in sixth.
In Saturday's $12,000-to-win finale, Ross rolled off 11th on the grid and battled inside the Top-10 to once again finish sixth in the running order.
