Ross Bailes Unharmed in Flip at Golden Isles

After Mother Nature wiped out Friday night’s opener, Ross Bailes was one of 45 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries signed in at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) on Saturday evening for the RhinoAg Super Bowl of Racing. Grabbing the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race, Ross locked into the 16th-starting position for the main event. With $12,000 on the line, Bailes jumped the cushion on lap-14 which sent him slamming into the wall. He was able to escape uninjured. (Zach Yost photo)
