Broken driveshaft halts Bailes' march at All-Tech

On Friday afternoon Ross Bailes was one of 70 Late Models on hand at All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) to kick off the 25th annual Powell Memorial. After carburetor issues sidelined him from his heat race, Bailes locked his spot into the $25,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday night with the fourth and final transfer spot in his B-Main. With Mother Nature postponing Saturday night’s to finale to Sunday afternoon, Bailes was up to eighth from his 22nd-starting position when a broken driveshaft brought an immediate end to his evening.
