December 6th, 2017 - Bailes Ends 2017 Season With 7 Wins
The 2017 season saw Ross Bailes attend a total of 47 events while visiting victory lane seven times. With the weather determining the outcome of nine of his scheduled dates, Bailes collected 31 Top-10 outings and 23 Top-5 finishes. He also finished seventh in the Carolina Clash point standings.
November 25th, 2017 - Ross Bailes Visits Swainsboro for Turkey 100
1Kicking off the Turkey 100, Ross Bailes headed to Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Georgia) on Friday night for the unsanctioned weekend. With 41 Crate Late Models on hand for the two-day event, Bailes recorded the second fastest time in his qualifying group before slipping back to a 6th place finish in his heat. Transferring into the B-Main on Saturday for another shot at the $10,000-to-win main event, Ross came up short of a transfer position with a 7th place outing.

November 19th, 2017 - Top 5 Finish With Ultimate Series at Screven
1On Friday night Ross Bailes visited Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Georgia) for the ULTIMATE Southeast Series sanctioned Georgia State Outlaw Championship. Laying down the third fastest time in a field of 22 cars, Bailes earned the 3rd-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Losing one spot in the 50-lap affair, Ross posted a 4th place finish behind Chris Ferguson, Casey Roberts, and Brent Larson with Johnny Pursley coming in 5th.

1Saturday night Ross stopped at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series season finale. With 27 Super Late Models on hand for the Mike Duvall Memorial Blue-Gray 100, Bailes secured his spot into the $15,000-to-win A-Main with a heat race victory. Rolling off 2nd for the feature, Ross was running in the Top 10 until he was caught in a pile-up, ending his night immediately. He was credited with a 15th place outing.

November 12th, 2017 - Bailes Lands 4th Place Finish in National 100 at EAMS
1Ross Bailes headed to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) on Friday night for the 43rd annual National 100. With 36 Super Late Models on hand for the unsanctioned weekend, Ross logged the 14th fastest time in his qualifying group transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 4 into the show, Bailes scored a 3rd place finish positioning him 22nd on the starting grid for the feature. After rough track conditions forced race officials to push back the feature to Saturday afternoon, Ross Bailes advanced through the field 15 spots to place 7th.  

Later Saturday night, Ross recorded the 13th fastest time in his qualifying group earning him the 23rd-starting position for the final preliminary feature. With $5,000 on the line, Ross Bailes improved 15 more spots reeling in an 8th place outing in the 50-lap affair.  

1After waiting out a weather delay late Sunday night to compete in the $20,000-to-win National 100, Ross Bailes was one of six cars that finished the 100-lap main event. November 4th, 2017 - Bailes Attends World Finals at Charlotte
1Thursday night found Ross Bailes in action at the Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, North Carolina) for the 11th annual Textron Off Road World Finals. Drawing 75 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series entries for two rounds of qualifying, Bailes laid down the ninth and seventh fastest times in his group.

Earning the 3rd-starting position for his heat on Friday, Ross slipped back to a 11th place outing after spinning out on lap six. Needing a 2nd place finish or better in his consolation event to make the show, Bailes logged a 10th place outing ending his night early.

Returning on Saturday night for another $12,000-to-win A-Main, Ross landed a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Dale McDowell positioning him 10th on the starting grid for the feature. Coming short of a Top 10 finish, Ross Bailes slipped back to a 27th place outing in the 50-lap affair.

January 25th, 2017 - Bailes Ends Season with Eight Wins; Kicking of 2017 Campaign at Golden Isles in February
Traveling to 35 events during the 2016 season, Ross Bailes reeled in eight feature wins with four in his Super and four in his Crate Late Model. Losing only two of his scheduled dates to bad weather, Bailes posted 28 Top 10 finishes and 19 Top 5 outings. He also wrapped up the season in second in the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series point standings behind Johnny Pursley.
